Heather Nauert
Heather Ann Nauert (born January 27, 1970) is an American broadcast journalist and former government official who was Spokesperson for the United States Department of State during the Donald Trump administration from 2017 through 2019. She is a senior fellow in the Hudson Institute, which is an think-tank for conservatives.
Prior to her work at the Department of State, she worked as an ABC News correspondent and news presenter on the Fox News program Fox & Friends. Nauert was also acting Secretary of State for Foreign Public Relations and Diplomacy during the Trump government, from March 2018 to October 2018. In the year 2019, Trump appointed Nauert to the J. William Fulbright Foreign Scholarship Board as well as the White House Commission on White House Fellowships.
